"K" Day

Wednesday was "K" Day.

After breakfast, I tickled ("kitzeln") Oma.

Mama and I baked yummy cookies ("Kekse.")

And there were lots of kisses ("Küsschen.")

Oma, Mama and I went to a great place: the Children's Museum ("Kindermuseum.") We had so much fun! Can ("kann") every day be "K" Day?

I had some Cheetos for lunch...appropriate, since they're cheese-flavored ("Käsegeschmack.") Here are the orange crumbs ("Krümel") to prove it:

They even had an ambulance ("Krankenwagen" at the Children's Museum ("Kindermuseum.") I finally got to turn on the siren myself!

After my nap, I got to cook ("kochen" with my new pots ("Kochtöpfe.")

"J" Day

"J" Day was supposed to be last week, but I was sick. So, we had it today instead.

For breakfast, I got to have yogurt ("Joghurt.") That's one of my favorites!

I got to watch some Caillou, since he's a boy ("Junge.")

Then I got to go on a Jeep-hunt ("Jeep-Jagd,") because it's pretty difficult to find my Jeep among all of my other cars.

Don't I look spiffy in my jeans ("Jeans?")

I got to eat Japanese ("Japanisch") food for lunch...with chopsticks! I didnt want to try the Jahrlsberg cheese today.

We played outside until nap-time. Did you know Jeeps can go down the slide?

We also read a couple of books related to "J." (Diego drives a Jeep, and the other book is about a boy ("Junge.")

After nap, we had currant ("Johannisbeer") scones. And I got to eat frozen yogurt ("Joghurteis") too.

"I" Day

Today was "I" Day.

In the morning, we identified ("identifizieren") different things hidden in a bottle.

After we played for a little while, we drove to Ikea. That's such a cool store! On the way there, I got to eat Bug Bites ("Insektenkekse.")

For lunch I ate fish-sticks and corn...and a hedgehog ("Igel") made out of mashed potatoes.

Mama and I also read a couple of books that had islands ("Inseln") and igloos ("Iglus") in them.

After my nap, we made an igloo ("Iglu") out of marshmallows.

For dinner, Mama and Daddy ate Indian ("indisches") food, but I didn't like that very much.
