Hewes Camping

Last weekend, Mama, Daddy, Grandma, Granddad, Aunt Amy, Uncle Jay and I spent the weekend at a farm. We played, sat around the campfire and went for boat rides.

"X," "Y," "Z" Day

Today was XYZ day...finally!

We picked Daddy up from work around lunchtime, so he could go to the zoo ("Zoo") with us. We rode the monorail and saw zebras ("Zebras.")

And then I showed Daddy where the other animals were on the map.

When we took Daddy back to work, he showed us the sundial. Apparently, it can tell time ("Zeit,") but I didn't quite figure that out yet.

In the afternoon, I ate Rice Krispie Treats.

"V" and "W" Day

Today was "V" and "W" day.


I watched a Veggietales movie.


I got a die ("Würfel!")


Mama and I went for a drive in our VW.

After naptime, I got to eat crayons ("Wachsmalstifte.") Don't worry: they were just pretzels with chocolate coating and sprinkles.



For dinner, I ate sausage ("Wurst.")

Field Trip

I got to go on my first field trip today! Mama got to come with me. We went to a farm, and it was super-fun!

Halloween

Halloween was this past weekend. Mama, Daddy and I went to Houston to celebrate Opa's birthday (It was on the 23rd) and to go to the GoFish concert. I got the super-cool Spiderman costume from my family in Celle. I even wore it on the drive home on Sunday...and when we went to Kohl's, I wore my mask, too.
