"U" Day

Today was "U" Day.

I put on my watch ("Uhr.")

We went on a bike ride and took a few pictures by the shore ("Ufer.")

And Mama and I made an Owl ("Uhu.")

For lunch, I had an Owl ("Uhu") sandwich with cauliflower gratin ("überbackener Blumenkohl.")

My snack was clock ("Uhr") cookies and U-cookies.

Why does Mama always have to interrupt my eating? Can't I just enjoy my cookie in peace?

Costumes

This morning we had a Monster Mash party at Gavin's. I dressed up as my favorite dragon, Tabaluga.

I tried on other costumes this afternoon. This one is Mama and Daddy's favorite:

"T" Day

Today was "T" Day.

Mama just thought this was a cute picture.

I got to eat animal crackers (Tierkekse) in the car. We had to take Daddy to work.

Mama and I put together a tiger puzzle ("Tigerpuzzle.")

And I got to color Tabaluga.

I covered the dough ("Teig") with a towel ("Tuch") so it could rise.

For lunch I ate a squid ("Tintenfisch") hot dog on a tortilla with tomato ketchup("Tomatenketchup.")

And, of course, I also spent some time on the trampoline ("Trampolin.")

After my nap, I got to eat a teddy bear ("Teddybär") sandwich. It was super-yummy!

Then I got to play an animal ("Tier") game.

Aren't I getting good at swinging ("schaukeln?")

Jumping ("springen") with my jump rope ("Springseil") on the trampolin is lots of fun ("Spass!")

"R" Day

Today was R Day.

Red ("rot") oatmeal? Yay!

I built this racecar ("Rennauto") all by myself.

This puzzle has a giant ("Riese") on it.

I study this bread recipe ("Rezept") very carefully to make sure we'd bake it correctly.

For lunch, I got to eat scrambled eggs ("Rührei") and red cabbage ("Rotkohl.")

Look! A spaceship ("Raumschiff")...or is it a rocket ("Rakete?")

I got a reptile ("Reptil") stamp.

Mama and I read one of my raven ("Rabe") stories.

Yummy: Ritter Sport chocolate!

And, to finish off the day, I went to sleep under my knight ("Ritter") covers.
