Early Christmas Present
Markus got an early Christmas present Monday night. Oma and Opa brought over the table and chair set they'd gotten him. Mama put the table and a stool together that night (the chairs will have to wait a few more days for assembly). Markus was so excited when he saw the stool and table Tuesday morning! He loves to sit at the table like a big boy and play or draw. Carrying the stool around the house is lots of fun too. :)

It's about time...
Well, since I don't seem to be able to keep our website updated with pictures, I thought I'd start using a Blog instead. Hopefully, I'll be able to provide more frequent updates this way.
Markus is getting so big! He loves running all over the place and tells us all kinds of stories (we're still looking for a Markus-to-English or Markus-to-German translator).
If you come visit and decide to take your shoes off, be aware that Markus will bring them to you to put them back on. He doesn't want anyone catching a cold from being barefoot. ;) He's a big fan of his shoes...
He's getting pretty good at eating with a fork and spoon now. Thankfully, he'll still accept help every once in a while...when he gets too hungry. :)
The Christmas season is very exciting for Markus this year. He loves Christmas trees and all of the fun decorations, but his favorite thing is his advent calendar. He gets so excited when it's time to open the pocket of the day, since there's a pretty good chance he'll get to eat some yummy chocolate. And he's a big fan of Christmas cookies too.
Well, I guess that's probably more than enough info for now, but if you want to hear more, feel free to call and we'll gush about Markus as much as you want. :)
